Recipe for Corn Flakes Tin Roof Pie --
Ingredients:
1/4 cup corn syrup
1/4 cup smooth peanut butter
3 cups Kellogg's Honey Crunch Corn Flakes
4 cups vanilla ice cream slightly softened
1/4 cup salted peanuts chopped
chocolate syrup
Preparation Instructions:
1. In small saucepan, heat syrup until just starting to boil. Remove from
heat. Stir in peanut butter. Add crushed cereal, stirring until well coated. Press evenly around base and sides of buttered 23 cm (9") pie plate. Chill in freezer 10 minutes or until firm.
2. Spoon softened ice cream into crust. Sprinkle with peanuts (press into
surface). Freeze pie until firm.
3. Remove from freezer 10 minutes before serving. Serve with chocolate syrup.
